Tina & Mychal- LaBella Vista Wedding

Christina and Mychal both prepared for their wedding day surrounded by the people that they love. Mychal started with his groomsmen at Hero in Newtown for a fresh shave. Christina met up with her girls at her parents house. Personal family friends, who own their own business, were in charge of helping with the details of Christina and Mychals wedding day!

Christina and Mychal were married in the church that Christina grew up in at St. Rose Lima, Newtown, CT. Pastor Weiss conducted a beautiful ceremony. He reminisced about watching Christina grow up as a child and how she always had something special about her. Christina and Mychal met while learning about becoming Catholic Missionaries through FOCUS. (You can read more about how they met on their engagement blog HERE.) Pastor Weiss had special wooden crosses made (modeled after the one made for him) for Tina & Mychal to carry with them on their next mission, to Argentina, to serve.

Some of Christina’s friends hand made her and Mychal’s rosary beads. Christina’s were beautifully wrapped around her bouquet and carried with her through her wedding day. Christina and Mychal had their family meet them at the statue of Mary at the conclusion of their service for family formals. After the family formals we headed over to Rams Pasture in Newtown. Once we were done playing in the fields of Rams Pasture, we headed over for a few more portraits on the ground of LaBelle Vista.

When it was time to toast, John, Mychal’s best friend spoke about the first time he met Christina and Mychal. Both at different times,…both while dancing. John was on point while he replicated these moves and spoke about the couple… “you know, Mychal is in control, head-up, chin-out and very stoic… Christina, meanwhile, is a little more crazy, limbs flailing & a whole lot of fun.” Christina’s sister sang at the church and again at the reception during her toast. She has an amazing voice and a great personality to go with it. Such meaningful toasts to bring everyone together on such a great day. The reception featured a top notch band called, The Metropolitan Players, who kept the dance floor rocking the remainder of the night. The evening ended with a picture perfect sparkler send-off! Here’s to the new Mr. & Mrs. and all of the adventures that await them in the future!
