PJ & Jen- Crissey Farms Wedding

PJ and Jen literally ran into one another after college. They both were a part of a running club, that they still run with, when they meet. The live together outside of Boston and both work in that area.

PJ & Jen’s (#pjen) wedding was one of the most laid back weddings I have ever been a part of. Jen and PJ spent the morning together and even got ready together. PJ saw Jen in her dress and helped her zip it up. Jen helped PJ with his tie. It was a sweet moment to be with them together with no one else around and no other distractions as they prepared for their wedding day. There was no big first look and no big reveal, just the two of them preparing for their wedding day together at the Red Lion Inn. It was quiet and it was beautiful. Jen wore her grandmothers pearls and bracelet on her wedding day.

Once they were ready we traveled right across the street to Naumkeag. Naumkeag is a 44 room “cottage” built in 1884 with beautiful gardens and stunning views of the Housatonic River Valley. It is located in the heart of the Berkshires and completely worth a visit to their 48 acres! We walked down the tree lined driveway and thought the stunning gardens at the top. The field of wild flowers were right at the bottom of this amazing space. PJ and Jen have the sweetest love for one another. They were so laid back the whole day.

We then headed over to Crissey Farms where PJ and Jen met up with their friends who were playing the violin and singing for them during their ceremony. Jen’s father walked her down the isle while the violin played. Jen’s aunt and PJ’s sister had a reading and PJ & Jen’s friends sang. After the ceremony everyone headed in for cocktail hour & to get the wedding party started. Crissey Farms is located right next to the Great Barrington Brewery and they have the best beer on tap! Their friends and family danced the night away to an amazing band called East Coast Soul. Jen and PJ also had a box of hat and props to dress up and dance with that night. PJ’s band also played a few sets when the band took a break! While they were playing PJ’s band has funny horns that Jen and her mom played in a song too!

What a fun night surrounds with fantastic people! Here are the highlights from their wedding day! Congrats PJen!
