Tina & Mychal- Angevine Farm Engagement

Typically I meet in person or Skype with potential clients before we decide to work together. Tina and Mychal were different. They are both living and working in the South and with their busy jobs as missionaries, I would correspond with Tina every other day or every few days. Meeting them in person for the first time at their engagement session was nerve wracking for me,… but when they walked out of the Hopkins Vineyard tasting room, arms wide open and big grins on their faces, I knew from that moment they would be a BLAST to work with.

A blast would be putting it mildly, and their love story is one for the books. I enjoyed every minute of my time with them, walking through the vineyard and talking with Tina & Mychal about love and life. They met as they started their first year in becoming missionaries. Each missionary is asked to go on a “dating fast”.  The “dating fast” was a year long, devoted to learning more about themselves and giving God their whole heart. The end of the year came, and Mychal asked Tina out on their first date. Their love for God and Spanish (not necessarily together) just begins the list of things they have in common. It’s all history from that first time they met in the cafeteria line, when they started their journey to becoming missionaries. They currently are in a long distance, loving and blessed relationship as her service has taken her to Texas and him in Louisiana.

After we played in the vineyard, and Mychal attempted the iconic catch in the movie Dirty Dancing (you decide if he was successful- pictures below), we headed over to Angevine Farm. At Angevine Farm we played in the trees and around the farm. As our session came to a close and we finished at the top of the farm, we witnessed the most beautiful sunset filled with every color of the rainbow. As I edit their engagement session, the quote “loving you is easy” is replaying in my head. Every thing about Tina and Mychal is true, genuine and loving. It was a joy to capture their engagement and I look forward to their wedding in May 2016! <3
