Steve & Becky- Annapolis Courthouse Wedding

Wedding: August 7th, 2015

Who knew that Annapolis Courthouse had a small, cute wedding chapel and marries quite a few couples a day? This particular Friday, Steve and Becky were the 15th wedding that day, and a few more waiting behind us!

Steve and Becky dated in high school and attended their sophomore year Homecoming Dance together (there is an awkward, teen prom type photo from this event to prove it)! They dated on and off and when it was time to move on to college they moved on from one another. It wasn’t until 2 years ago that they ran into one another and rekindled a love that had never been lost. They have blended their families and are the proud parents of 3 awesome kids. There is no one better to live with, love and co-parent with than your best friend!

Steve and Becky were truly meant for one another and they are the type of couple you could spend forever with and not get bored. There is never a dull moment in their lives and as their relationship has been tested a few times since they started dating again, they have proven that nothing can bend or break them.

Since Steve is my husbands best friend, I was able to be a part of this wedding more than I normally am. Becky found her dress up here in CT while she was visiting us last winter! I took her to the awesome Julie Allen Bridals, where they found her a perfect dress that was right in her budget. I was also there to help her get into her dress- not to photograph this, which was very special to me! I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness! Enjoy the highlights from their wedding!

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
