Shael & Mike- Tarrywile-Mansion-Wedding

wedding date: October 21st, 2017

It was an unseasonably warm Fall afternoon when Shael and Mike tied the knot at Tarrywile Mansion under the grape arbor. The leaves had started to turn, the colors of fall were bursting from the seams, but the weather felt like a warm summer afternoon. Shael and Mike didn’t mind as they were married in the arbor and then walked around the park with me that day.

Shael and Mike are people that you want to know and be around. Their sweet disposition and very mellow way about them on their wedding day made their afternoon just perfect. Shael’s daughter threw the flowers as Shael’s son walked her down the isle. It truly was the sweetest moment as he handed her off to his new step dad. You can tell that both children adore Mike and were happy that their mom was marrying them.

After the ceremony and some quick family formals, we headed down the meadow for some wonderful opportunities for pictures of the two of them. The love they have for one another radiates and anyone around them can see how much they care about each other. Jimmy from James Daniel Entertainment kept the dance floor rockin the rest of the afternoon while they danced the day away with their closest family and friends! I hope they are having a blast on their honeymoon! Cheers to the next 100 years!

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
