Wedding Date: August 29th, 2015
Kori & Kyle’s wedding day could not have been more perfect! Their wedding took place at the Stamford Nature Center in Stamford, CT on one of the most picture perfect wedding weekends this summer! Kori made sure to incorporate the “something old” saying into so many details of her wedding attire. She wore her mom’s mantilla (veil), carried one of her grandmother’s purses, wore her grandmothers pearl earrings and had her mothers dress remade into a dress that fit her perfectly. Kyle also brought “something old” with him too by wearing his grandfathers watch. She prepared for her wedding by getting ready in the hotel before heading over to the Stamford Nature Center to get her dress on. Once we were at the Nature Center, Kori put her dress on for the first time for her dad to see her. His face was absolutely priceless and it truly was one of those moments that makes my job so important! (see the photo below)!
After Kori and Kyle’s first look, we spent some time together for bridegroom formals before taking family photos. They then headed back inside to prepare for their ceremony. As guests arrived, Kori could watch over below from the Nature Center to see who was there. They had a neat, non-traditional, set up with no isle for their wedding ceremony. Once their ceremony was over, they took advantage of the whole park and enjoyed cocktail hour with their guests on the bride of the Nature Center. The night continued on inside the historic nature center with a rockin DJ, great food, and so much fun! What a cool venue with some amazing family and friends surrounding them as they begin their journey as husband and wife!! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day!
