There are so many wonderful things I could say about this couple but I am going to keep this one short. They were friends and started dating in high school, they went to college and continued their relationship. They have grown together and learned to be stronger together. From the moment I met them and their families, I felt welcomed. Their traditional Jewish ceremony brought tears to all those who are close to them. It was a perfectly perfect ceremony followed up with perfectly perfect toasts, dances and a celebration with the moon high in the sky over the tent! There was one quote from one of the toasts that resonated with me and I think it fit them so well. It is an old African proverb that reads, “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Cheers to the newlyweds, here’s to the next 1,000 years!
