Eric and Kate come up to CT a few weekends a year to stay with family and visit the area. One of their favorite spots when visiting is Hopkins Vineyard. Hopkins Vineyard became even more important to them this time last year, since this is where Eric asked Kate to marry him. We had a great time playing though the vines on this pretty perfect summer morning. They are planning a 2016 wedding in New Jersey. Enjoy a few favorites from their engagement session with me!

This majestic church, originally built in 1981, was rebuilt and rededicated in December 2025. It has an incredible stained glass window (25ft tall) that is fully illuminated at night.
To me, these black and white photos detail the simplistic, yet ethereal, grace of Kristin & Joe’s ceremony- highlighted in the magic of their daughter’s eyes waiting for the door to open and here mother to walk down the aisle.
