Marie and Erik grew up going to Jones beach and to this day it is one of their favorite spots to go. I meet them there, at this massive beach, at Lot #6. We had an early morning session to beat the crowds (not that it would be too busy at the end of April). Erik and Marie also brought a red kite to fly while we walked the beach, so cute! As they pulled the kite in, they saw the string was about to let go,… it was perfect timing and Marie said, “It was luck, we always get lucky!” We were seconds away from losing the kite, and had no idea!! Marie explained that when things happen to them, they always seem to be lucky with the outcome. After playing in the sand and walking the beach, we headed to Ridgefield, CT. There, Erik and Marie had ice cream as they talked about one of their first dates and their first kiss, or attempt at a first kiss… we finished up our session with some dancing in the park that early afternoon.
