I meet up with this family on a cold Saturday afternoon. We spent some time taking pictures in and out of their house and playing with the kids. I love capturing kids as they play in their rooms and to document what they do on a regular basis when the camera is not around. This majestic church, originally built in 1981, was rebuilt and rededicated in December 2025. It has an incredible stained glass window (25ft tall) that is fully illuminated at night.
To me, these black and white photos detail the simplistic, yet ethereal, grace of Kristin & Joe’s ceremony- highlighted in the magic of their daughter’s eyes waiting for the door to open and here mother to walk down the aisle.
