My friendship with Steve goes back to high school. He was one of those friends in high school for me that I could call for anything. Throughout college and way beyond we stayed in touch and we stayed friends. I was ecstatic when he had my husband and I meet his ‘girlfriend’ for a date a few years back. Well, as expected, we fell in love with Tessa! To be completely cliche, they go together like bread and butter, ham and cheese, or a gluten free noodle with more gluten free stuff. I mention the gluten free because Tessa is an amazing cook! She has her own business, natural comfort kitchen, where she cooks and creates some pretty amazing meals! My husband and I meet up with them for lunch before we headed out McLaughlin Vineyards for their engagement shoot. It was not the nicest of days, in fact- it poured ALL afternoon. These two did not let the weather dampen their spirits,… I LOVE photographing in the rain (especially when I have my husband to follow me around with an umbrella)- overall, such a great afternoon!
