Stacy & Aaron- Private Estate Wedding

Wedding Dates: December 30th & December 31st, 2016

Stacy and Aaron put together one of the most intimate, private weddings that I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. They rented a private estate in New Milford, CT (literally right down the road from me), that had a perfect set up and an amazing property. It only took an hour or so for their friend Mike to convert the house to a wedding venue. The first night of their celebration included a first look, ceremony, a catered dinner, family formals and then a dance party with a DJ at the house. During dinner, Sean (aka: Big Daddy) sang beautifully, and before the end of the night had all the guests rockin the dance floor!

The best part about renting this house for their wedding? They stayed at the venue BOTH nights of their wedding. Everything was there, all in one place. The first night included mostly family and the second night was mostly friends to celebrate their wedding the night before.

On the 2nd night of their wedding celebration, a catered dinner followed up with sparklers outside and a DJ’ed dance party for night two. The DJ kept the dance floor rocking as the night carried on! What a great way to celebrate a marriage of two very laid back, tons of fun, people! Here are my favorites from their wedding day! Enjoy!!

Venue: Private Estate, New Milford, CT

Caterer: High on the Hog

DJ: James Daniel Entertainment, “Big Daddy” & Dan

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
