Stacey & Henry- Daffodil and Topsmead State Park Engagement

We started our engagement session at the daffodil fields in Litchfield, CT. We missed their peak season, but I also think the cold weather did not help the daffodils stay long,… but there were still a few pretty places with some gorgeous daffodils in them. Henry, Stacey and I did a lot of walking and chatting as we roamed through the fields to find the “pretty patches” of flowers still in bloom. We laughed a ton before heading over to Topsmead State Park. At Topsmead State Park, Henry and Stacey started loosening up a bit. Stacey broke out some of her dance moves to get Henry’s smile to shine though. These two were fun to be around and the weather could not have been nicer for their engagement session. Middle of April, low 80s and a slight breeze in the air…. perfect!! Here are my favorites from their engagement session with me! I can’t wait for their July 2016 wedding!

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
