Shaun & Lisa- Hopkins Vineyard Engagement

It was a cold January, overcast morning that I meet up with Lisa & Shaun for their engagement session. We went to Hopkins Vineyard where it was so cold that Shaun’s hair froze on his head as he got out of the car. Lisa and Shaun were such troopers and after a while I think we all became so numb that we could not feel how cold it truly was! We had a great time walking around the Vineyard and then headed down to the water at Lake Warmaug State Park. We laughed and had a great time drinking “hot coco” in cute red mugs and watching me fall down the hill,… thankfully no harm to my camera, just my body! They were such troopers with the cold that you really would have no idea by looking at them that it was only 18 degrees outside!!  When the session was over we headed back to the vineyard to warm up and enjoy a nice glass of wine! Thank you Shelby for second shooting the session with me! Here are a few of my favorites; I’m looking forward to their wedding this June!!!

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
