Ryan & Brittany- Candlelight Farms Wedding

Wedding date: September 29th, 2018

The weather could not be more perfect for Brittany and Ryan’s awesome wedding day! And to top off the weather, the leaves on the farm had started to change colors. Brittany also wanted to make sure to include their very active and fun pup, Noodle. Noodle was walked down the isle by the best man, Ryan’s best friend from college. On Brittany’s side, was her best friend also, the man of honor. Surrounded by the people that love them the most, they tied the knot and partied the night away. Cheers to the newlyweds! A wedding mass delivered in both French & English last weekend was simply magical. Lillian arrived by horse drawn carriage with her father as Mathieu and his mother walked down the aisle to start the ceremony. Day 2 of the wedding weekend was traditional ceremony held in the center of the sleepy ski town of Megeve (as it’s the off season) and a reception you could walk to down the street.

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!

Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Civil ceremony in France this morning- it’s so beautiful to see how much tradition is still a huge part of this world!

Lillian walked through a local market from her hotel to meet up with Mathieu, where he and his family were waiting. We walked into the board room together to witness them become a partnership in marriage. At the conclusion of the ceremony they were handed two pens and a velvet book. The velvet book how the families in Megeve still track their families- through paper… I felt like I was thrown back in time today with REAL authentic love and a love for real tradition of families coming together.

Today was just the start of a beautiful partnership! Here’s to the exciting things to come tomorrow & Sunday!!!
