My youngest child was baptized over Memorial Day Weekend. Our friends and family traveled from as far away as Maryland to be with us on her special day. We are so honored that my best friend from college and my husbands best friend from high school said yes to being Rebecca’s Godparents. Rebecca wore the baptism gown that my sister, my mother & I were baptized in. My great-grandma made it for my mother many, many years ago! Even more special for my husband and I was that our pastor who married us and baptized Jackson (our oldest son) performed the ceremony. She was baptized in the church I grew up in and the church that we still try to attend as a family, Newtown United Methodist Church in Sandy Hook. Our celebration continued at the family lake house down the street from the church in Sandy Hook, CT. Here are some highlights from her baptism!
