Perfect weather, laid back couple and a beautiful venue. What a great combination, setting up for a great day for this sweet couple. Megan and Mark chose to see one another in a first look,… but even before that, they drove together to the venue. Megan’s hair was complete and she donned her Bride robe as they arrived at the Waveny Mansion together. At the venue, already in progress to get the day going, Chris Angione of Carriage House Events & Catering, had his staff in full swing preparing for their wedding day. Their first look took place on the backside of the mansion, in the garden area. Megan held back the tears as she was overcome with emotion. Such a sweet moment as they walked through tea house, in the field and even stood in the tall gras and purple flowers for me.
Their wedding took place in the rose garden at the Waveny Mansion. No humidity and a slight breeze made for a perfect combination. We finished some last minute family formals and then Megan and Mark were able to join their cocktail hour. Their first dance was under the setting sun on the back porch of the mansion before people headed inside for dinner. I took them outside just as the sun was setting for some great photographs in the “golden hour.” So many great images from such a great day! Cheers!
