Marissa & Connor- Candlelight Farms Elopement

elopement day: October 9th, 2020

These two have waited long enough,… they were high school sweethearts… and when weddings started to be postponed and changed, Marissa is one of my brides who held on to her original wedding plans the longest! She was set on still holding her whole wedding on the 9th and was hoping that COVID would be long gone (or restrictions would be loosened),.. Even though that did not pan out, they still had a perfect, small wedding on their original date! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day and I cannot wait to do it again next July! Cheers to the newlyweds!

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
