wedding day: September 5th, 2026
A beautiful wedding day in Sherman, Connecticut that began with a ceremony at the newly rebuilt Holy Trinity Church. This church holds a meaningful place for the grooms family, as this is where the groom’s mom works. The architecture and intricate details of this church were simply stunning!
Kristin & Joe’s two year old daughter was a sweet part of the day, naturally finding her way into both the ceremony and reception. She was a part of every part of the church and reception, none of which were intentionally planned. Walking down the aisle alone, then again with her mom, and at the reception- then a the toasts (with her own cup of milk) and then the dance floor (all decorated with sticky flowers too).
From the moment the reception began, the dance floor stayed full. The groom’s friends lifted him into the air, light sabers made an appearance, and the celebration continued until the lights came on. Kristin & Joe also incorporated a fun raffle featuring two of their favorite treats, Oreos and Sour Patch Kids. Guests were asked to guess how many were in the jars, while the bartender was repeatedly asked for her best estimate…Her answer was simple: “Definitely more than 2″!
A beautiful setting, a meaningful ceremony, and a celebration filled with family & friends. Cheers to the next 100 years Joe & Kristin!
