Jenny & Mike were married last weekend on a family’s stunning 5 acre property in Roxbury, CT. This family home happens to have hosted so many of the families events, weddings and parties over the last few years, it was only fitting that Jenny & Mike chose to be married there as well.
Even though it rained, the rain held off while the ceremony took place under the tall trees. The trees provided a beautiful cover for the ceremony and a few photos afterwards. The ceremony also included putting a necklace on their daughter. What a wonderful way to incorporate family into such an important day!
After the ceremony, it was a small walk up the hill to the tent where Aunt Suzie did all the flowers and their family friend provided the BBQ from the large smoker. A private first dance, cake cutting and a ton of dancing under the rain (and a rainbow) is how the night ended. Congrats to the newlyweds! Cheers to the next 100 years!
