I photographed Nick & Ai’s wedding about a year and a half ago so when they contacted me to photograph Haru “Hayden”‘s first birthday/cake smash I could not wait to meet him! The morning turned out to be such a nice day and he was such a trooper! I just LOVED his little outfit and the chocolate mustaches made by Ai and Marcy for the family photo! Although he did not want to eat the cake or get messy, cake smashes with babies period are still super cute! Even cuter was mom and dad trying to get Haru interested in the cake in the last few frames!! Here are my favorites from his session!
