Rowan and Harper have birthdays within a month of one another and they are good family friends of ours. Rowan turned 4 this year and Harper turned one! We had a clean cake smash with Harper, but she did try to feed Rebecca her cake (but Rebecca was having none of it!). Reina & Gray celebrated differently than any wedding I’ve photographed in 14 years! They chose an intimate gathering over a large crowd, one large table over smaller groups, a trivia game hosted by the bride and groom over a dance floor. Each moment was so perfectly put together for such a spectacular night.
The mother of the groom hosted her very own version of the wedding shoe game- with a fizzy twist! Instead of shoes, the couple held colorful soda cans that matched the first letter of their first names. It was quirky, clever, and full of laughter as guests watched them raise a “Coke” or a “Sprite” to answer questions about their relationship. A perfect reflection of the family’s fun, game- loving spirit!
