Emily & Eric- Silverbrook Farm Wedding

wedding date: June 9th, 2018

This sweet bride I have known since she was 5. Her family would come up to CT to visit family in the summer time and Emily and I would hang out. We’d go to the mall, she’d read to me (she’s a very smart cookie), we’d search the local towns for carnivals and fireworks,… you know, fun kid stuff. My family had also visited her a few times as well in VA. When she told me she was getting married 2 years ago and asked me to be her photographer, I knew there was no way I was missing this!

Fast forward to her wedding day. She has married a perfect gentleman with 2 children. Together, they make the perfect family of 4. During their wedding ceremony, they each rang a bell and together, they make perfect harmony. Their rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception was held on a beautiful bed and breakfast property, complete with a barn for the reception. We danced the night away with the Ye Old Dance Band as they played traditional contra-dance music!

All of their details and vendors they worked with were personal family friends or people they have worked with or gamed with before which made their day extra special. Happy Honeymoon and Cheers to forever for this beautiful couple!

Sunday morning bunch, on the top of a mountain at l’alpage. The only way to get there is to hike up to it or take an off-road vehicle to it (with cliffs rights along the sides)! Incredible views, great company, light naps, looking for marmot & goat sightings, and fondue over a fire. The perfect ending to an incredible weekend! Cheers to Mathieu & Lillian!
Grateful, thankful & blessed. What a whirlwind weekend in Megeve, France photographing a 3 day wedding weekend. The views, the people and my 2nd photographer crushing it on his 2nd and last time out photographing a wedding (his decision to go into retirement, not mine! ) lost luggage, fresh Evian water, lots of cheese, excellent cappuccinos, and some late nights together make this trip one we’ll never forget!

Keep your eyes peeled- more from this weekend soon! ❤️
