These two met in the most old-fashioned way — at church. But funny enough, they should have met long before that. When Danielle moved to Connecticut, her best friend had a brother she was never introduced to… until one day at church changed that.
They clicked right away — family, friends, and church all tying them together. When Christopher reached out about the proposal, he shared how much they love Newport, so it only made sense to propose there. He also warned me that Danielle is tough to surprise. Even though she knew a proposal was coming, she was convinced it wouldn’t be until the following weekend.
He told her they were heading to breakfast at Castle Hill Lighthouse, but asked if they could take a walk first. They made their way out on the rocks, and as I was tracking their location, everything was going smoothly. Danielle didn’t think much of me taking “lighthouse” and “bird” photos nearby, though she definitely noticed me. Christopher handled it perfectly, acting like we didn’t know each other at all.
He took a few photos of them on his phone, then had her turn around so he could take some of just her. After showing her the photos, he said he needed one more, had her turn again and that’s when he got down on one knee.
It was perfect. Cheers to such a sweet surprise!
