Casey and Kelly were married on a perfect August afternoon and the venue they were married at was just as perfect! I meet up with Kelly as she got ready at the Adam Brodereck Salon in Southbury, CT. Her matron of honor, Sherry and Sherry’s mom also came to the salon with Kelly to get their hair and make-up done. They then headed to Sherry’s house for lunch before the short ride up to Wood Acres in Terryville, CT.
Once at Wood Acres, I meet up with Ken who showed me around the grounds and was preparing the horse and carriage rides for Kelly & Casey’s guests. Kelly and Casey arrived early enough for Casey to greet guests and Kelly to enjoy the grounds and double check the venue was set up just as she imagined. During the ceremony, the sun was in and out behind the clouds and the high temperature reached just around 80 degrees with little to no humidity.
After the ceremony, Casey & Kelly enjoyed some downtime before they came up for formal family pictures and pictures with myself and my second photographer, Robyn.
As they were introduced, the sun set over the venue and the super-moon rose. It was a perfect night for guests to enjoy the wrap around porch at the venue and enjoy dinner and dancing inside. Cheers to many, many, many years Casey & Kelly! Thank you for having me be a part of your day!
