wedding date: May 21st, 2017
Caitlin & Alex met when they were living in CT. They started dating but their love and happiness took them out to Colorado for the last two years. Alex proposed to Caitlin on the ice rink at Rockefeller Plaza. Caitlin’s sister was there to video the whole thing happen! Kylie even turned this video in to a video for Caitlin and Alex about their love story that was shown after her maid of honor speech.
Caitlin and Alex could not have had a more perfect day in May for their wedding. It was sunny, 68 degrees and a few puffy white clouds in the sky. There was even a slight breeze that would come rushing by every now and then. Caitlin had her hair and make-up done in her home town of New Milford surrounded by her best girlfriends and her mom. Alex met up with his friends at the hotel to get ready for their big day.
Alex and Caitlin had a unique lock ceremony during their vows. They had 2 antique locks that had their wedding bands on them. The junior groomsman brought the chain of keys down the isle and he handed over the keys to unlock the locks. Once the locks were taken apart, they were put together on a frame and locked on there tight. What a great way to remember their ceremony and their pledge to love one another forever in a frame!
Their reception carried on into the early evening with great jams played by Chris from Powerstation Events. At the desert bar, not only was there a make your own ice cream station, there was also a donut station! What a wonderful way to start their lives together!
