Meet Brooke and Cody! They met their freshman year while attending Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. Cody proposed to Brooke on the 50 yard line at their former college where they first met. Brooke loves Anna Maria College so much that when a job opportunity came up, she jumped at the chance to still be there. She is a career counselor for those students who are getting ready to graduate and make it on their own in the real world and Cody works locally in the area too. The engagement on the 50 yard line was well planned and Cody sent Brooke on a scavenger hunt leading her to the end on the turf. There, everything came together,… except that Cody forgot to have the lights turn on, so the pictures of her reaction did not come out so great. He designed the ring from her Pinterest board that she had no idea her sister was helping him get into and view.
We started our session at Moore State Park in Massachusetts. The weather was absolutely perfect to wander around the park, until the tiny flies came out. There are some pretty priceless pictures of the two of them trying to get the flies above their heads and then bringing their hands back down real quick. It kind-of worked, well it worked for some great laughs! We hung out by the waterfall, went over the bridge, crawled under an old mill and hiked up a mountain. During our session we even saw a beaver,… but it was a little too big to be a beaver… so possibly a small black bear?!After walking around the park- we headed back to Anna Maria College to play on the turf field and by the back pond. I had such a great time getting to know these two! I can’t wait for their June wedding this year!
