All weddings are special for me, but this one was a little more…. Anne is my youngest cousin and I grew up spending my weekends at the lake house playing with her and when we met Russ, we knew he was a perfect fit! Every part of Anne’s wedding day was planned to perfection. In place of Anne’s father walking her down the aisle, she walked half way by herself and then her older brother met her halfway. Both Anne’s godfather and Russ’s father read during the ceremony. The party continued when they were swept outside to take their formal photos with Trish and Audrey. Trish and Audrey took care of the photography so I could enjoy the wedding as a guest. They covered the day beautifully and I am so thankful for them!
At the reception we had a coke (in honor of Anne’s father), scratched some lotto tickets (and handed the winners back to Anne & Russ for a pay out) then danced the night away to tunes sung and played by one of the best, Big Daddy! What a great day day and I could not be happier for my cousin Anne & Russ!
