They attended the same high school, but didn’t know each other. It was not until they were attending a wedding of a mutual friend that Spiro started talking to Amanda’s dad. When Amanda and Spiro started dancing at that wedding they were both attending, Amanda’s sister Alexa made sure to remind Spiro that she remembered him from high school…. I mean, who could forget Spiro’s school spirt! That wedding they were attending was the start of a wonderful relationship filled with love, laughter, and the sweetest little baby girl! Amanda and Spiro have had major life events happen over the last year of their engagement, a house, a new baby and the icing on the cake, was their amazing wedding!
It snowed on their wedding day and the temperature of the day was way below the average for that time of year. But, the snow was stunning and the bridesmaids and groomsmen were troopers to head out in it for some amazing pictures before we headed off to the church outside of Hotel Zero.
They were married in the Greek church that Spiro and his family have attended his whole life. Their ceremony was sweet and personal and at the conclusion, we stayed there for some family portraits. Afterwards, as the sun set, and temps dropped into the teens (with a windchill in the single digits), we stopped in downtown Ridgefield for a few minutes for some amazing couples photographs.
After downtown Ridgefield, we were off to Le Chateau and the stunning renovation and new ballroom they just opened in October this year. Kaos Productions kept the dance floor rocking late into the evening with a great mix of traditional Greek music (paired with traditional Greek dancing), and today’s hits. Congratulations to the newlyweds, what a great way to bring in the New Year! Cheers!
