Adrienne & Jed
wedding: July 11th, 2015
Adrienne and Jed were married on a picture perfect July day! Low humidity and temps in the high 80’s. Their whole day was relaxed, elegant and fun! Jed gave Adrienne a blue box, something every girl would LOVE to get the day before their wedding that contained a beautiful pearl bracelet. They prepared for their day in the beautiful Dolce Norwalk hotel and traveled with some of their best friends over to the Waveny House for their first look, ceremony and reception.
This couple also featured a family tradition, and something I have never seen before as guests tried to find their tables. Each guest had a nut with their name on it and they had to crack it open to reveal their table. Jed and Adrienne even brought with them their famous “shot ski” to help celebrate their day. The “shot ski” is a custom made water ski that has 5 holes for a shot glass carved out. It has stickers on the bottom of it to where it has traveled.
Their first look took place on the grounds of the Waveny House. Then all of their formal pictures were complete before hand all so they could be a part of cocktail hour with their friends and family. During cocktail hour, their caterer set up a private dinner for them a little away from the party. This was such an awesome feature to add to anyone planning their wedding day! Jed & Adrienne were able to enjoy dinner and some quite, together time during an otherwise busy day!
Dinner was held inside the beautiful, well decorated Waveny House followed by dancing and outside on the porch. The porch on the outside of the Waveny House is such a stellar place to dance and enjoy the moonlight!
Adrienne and Jed are the type of couple that you could meet them in one day and be their best friends by that night. I have had so much fun photographing their engagement and their wedding this past weekend. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this fun-loving couple!
