Matt & Liz- The Hangar at Candlelight Farms Wedding

wedding date: September 16th, 2017

All week we watched the weather, and every day the forecast changed. We were waiting for one of the hurricanes to come up the coast and bring rain to the Northeast. But, the weatherman is always wrong, and last Saturday could not have more perfect. The sunshine was bright, the temperatures were warm and the sunset was gorgeous. Matt & Liz’s wedding was held on the beautiful grounds of Candlelight Farms at the Hangar. Their first look took place at a beautiful house off grounds before we headed down to the Hangar. When we arrived at the Hangar, there were small planes practicing their landing and take off, but each time we tried to get near the runway for some photos, they were gone.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful oak tree off to the side of the very active runway. The Hangar doors were open and the light breeze flowed through the space just perfectly. Matt and Liz had pretty details that tied their whole wedding together. From the picture of their dog at the bar in a suit, to the mason jars with individual names (that also worked as a seating chart), to the Bruins corn hole game. Matt’s sister married them and had written a perfectly, perfect ceremony that included a very long list of “perfect pairs”. She concluded with advice that her elementary students suggested that she say to the newly married couple. Toasts were given, and the Lebanese dancing opened up the dance floor for the rest of the night. Matt & Liz’s wedding was a simply perfect day! Congrats to the newlyweds, cheers to the next 1,000 years!
