Wedding date: June 20th, 2015
These two high school sweethearts are such a perfect bunch. I photographed their engagement session last year in DC since that is where they both currently live. The more time I spent with them, the more time I could tell how perfectly matched they are. On their wedding day, I started by meeting Annie in the hair salon in Monroe- the traffic to and from the hair salon and the “glitter” (aka, rain) that was falling from the sky did not damper Annie’s spirits. Just a few moments of concern, but those passed in good company with her bridesmaids and her mom.
Once we arrived at Tarrywile mansion, a decision had to be made as to if they were getting married outside in the grape arbor or inside the mansion. Unfortunately, the rain (that was not forecasted to start until late that night), was not letting up. They made the decision to get married inside the glass room in the mansion. It was packed to the brim with people but the lighting was spectacular! Their wedding was sweet and absolutely perfect.
As soon as they were married, it stopped raining and we were able to head outside for family portraits and the bride and groom portraits. We had just enough time to play outside around the mansion to capture the love that these two have for one another before we headed underneath the tent to get the party started. The DJ, Gerald, was fantastic and he knew just how to keep the night rockin!
I had a blast with these two and I am honored they hired me to capture their special day! Here are my favorites from their wedding!! Enjoy!
